A near perfect, calm, sunny and cool day greeted a small but energetic group of athletes. David Rush showed his intensions early to lead the run out at a fast pace, maintaining that lead to take line honours, and Vet Males in just under the one hour mark. Paul Gough crossed the line second to take out the Open Men race with some tight battles further down the field for minor line honours and section placings. Shannon McNatty took line honours for the women, and the Vet Women section, by one minute over Bronwyn Shute. The Grave Girls took out the teams race and Brent Cardno the Short Course race.
