New World Centre City Winter Duathlon Series

It's with much pleasure we welcome New World Centre City as naming rights sponsor for our 2016 New World Centre City Winter Duathlon Series. We would also like to welcome GO Healthy NZ to the club who are also providing some amazing series and spot prizes.

We are introducing some exciting new initiatives and have a great array of spot prizes at every race, a Series Point System and Championship prizes for Otago Champions.

2016 Series Calendar

         Race 1: Sunday 8th May - Brighton - A bit sandy, but a whole lot of fun!

         Race 2: Sunday 12th June - Portobello - Going "wild" on the peninsula

         Race 3: Sunday 7th August - "The Bull Ring" Whare Flat - Let the mud fly!

         Race 4: Sunday 28th August - Aramoana - Something a little different

         Race 5: Sunday 18th September - Mosgiel - It's trophy time!

Series Points System

We will be running a Series Points System that will reward you for consistency throughout the series (more details to follow). The male and female points winners in each age group will go into the draw for one of two $300 prizes from Go Healthy NZ (1 male and 1 female). The other age group winners will also recieve a great prize from New World Centre City

Series Spot Prize

A $500 New World Centre City voucher is up for grabs for any individual who has competed and/or marshaled at 3 or more events. Spot prizes from New World Centre City, GO Healthy NZ and CycleWorld up fro grabs at every event too.

Championship Prizes

The winner of each Otago Championship Trophy, who is also in the top 3 in the Series Points System, will be offered financial assistance to attend the National Duathlon Championships (date and venue to be confirmed), as well as other great prizes.
